Mühlingen cuckoo clock with 1-day movement

Since the middle of the last century, cuckoo clocks have been made in the Simonswäldertal near the German Clock Road in the family business. The Mühlingen cuckoo clock is 22cm high, has a mechanical 1-day clockwork, automatic night shut-off and is made of birch wood, which is partially hand-painted. The dial and hands are made of wood.

This cuckoo clock shows a typical Swiss house with a Saint Bernard and charming, hand-painted floral decorations.

You wind the mechanical 1-day movement once a day. That means you pull on the chains until the weights are up again. The size given here only refers to the clock without weights and pendulum.
